These stairs lead from the bridge on Cadzow St in Hamilton down to Cadzow Glen. I wouldn't recommend using them. The further down you go the worse they get. Shot with Spotmatic Sp and SMC Takumar 50mm.

I work with savages. People spill things in the fridge but don't clean it, choosing instead to let it fester. It's a health hazard. I cleaned out the metal food cabinet once a while ago and found items that were over ten years out of date! I don't even use the cupboard myself but it was starting to get on my nerves.
There's the funk on the bottom called lees - indigestible particulate matter that is left over by the yeast.
On the top is this sort of scummy stuff that you want to drop the glass end of the siphon through as quickly as possible before it goes so far as to hit the lees.
Because of this, you loose a little bit of each carboy when bottling. We felt pretty good to have as little as this left over from the first batch of pinot noir.
