Rice balls – the all time favorite of NY's Little Italy Feasts. Italian Rice rolled and stuffed with Mozzarella Cheese and Bolognaise Meat, dusted with Bread Crumbs & quick fried. Served with Marinara Sauce on the side. $6.95
Filomena Gabbiano owns her own souvenir store in the most touristy spot of Lecce, accross from the Church of the Holy Cross. While waiting on the customers, she continues to create paper flowers, dolls, jewelry, and refrigerator magnets.
While the officially named Storm Filomena technically ended in January, the weather ever since has been very windy and largely very cold. The tail end of it's effects seen here.

this is supposed to be another one of my La Purisimas ( take note of the Spanish face)
----DEJA VU! DEJA VU! DEJA VU! this already happened. Anyway, a mistake led me to fill her head with flowers and just reminded me of this female saint my family prayed to when my dad was fighting with his cancer. Lily and halo are still to be placed or i could just leave this as is and be just a Spanish Girl with flowers on her head.
