Toronto is a major film and TV production hub in North America. Not sure if this is a case of "despite" or "because of" the wintry weather, a crew is film- or television- making on Broadview Avenue next to Riverdale Park.

Over the American Thanksgiving weekend 2019 (on 2019-12-01), a Colorado Low storm met with cold air over the Great Lakes, bringing freezing rain (sleet), snow, and strong wind to Toronto.
