When I started photography about 16 years ago I found a small mom and pop shop to develop my film in Park Slope Brooklyn. Years later I use the same place - Accurate Photoshop is run by Connie and Tony are always there working the counter, developing film and now they expanded to a pharmacy run on the corner. Their daughter is taking the reins of the business and hopefully keeps it going for years to come.
i developed 2 rolls today - one from the yashica and one disposable camera i've had sitting around for a year!
i'm so excited to post them all!
my first time using fuji neopan film and this was the only half decent shot out of a roll of 36....very contrasty and grainy but i love the deep rich blacks.

I decided to quit my 365
i have so many ideas but i upload so much lush pictures.
for 365 i need time and the pro account. i try to buy it but it do not work! :S
i will buy a new filmcamera and take maaaany film pictures ((:

i like having a place all to myself to write my thoughts. small enough to bring with my anywhere, keep a pencil or pen with, filled now with bright and colorful words in pink and blue and orange. its not full yet, not even close, but its more writing than ive done in a while. lists. thoughts off the top of my head. more lists. letters. sketches. ideas. something all to myself. something all my own.
「你知道最有京都風味的景點是甚麼嗎？」
逛遍了著名景點，總是想得到一個結論，於是你問起別人，京都是否還有更隱藏的版本路線，關於交通方便、人又少、只有京都人才知道的場所。
當時你並不知道，生活在京都的日本人，最熟悉的就是家裡附近，還一廂情願地希望從對方身上得到甚麼驚喜的答案。
回想起來，當時為什麼會有這樣的想法呢？如果問起我台中市有甚麼好逛的，就逢甲夜市、一中街、東海大學、這些耳熟能詳，當地人卻又少去逛的地方吧。
所以話一說出口，我心裡覺得這真是失禮的問題，翻翻旅遊書上標示的地點，不就有答案了嗎。
散步的樂趣，不就是建立在跟旅遊書籍情報沒關係的認知，迷路變成探索未知的樂趣，這邊起的頭，那邊轉個彎，管他是對是錯，弄錯方位也是經驗，樂在其中也不倦累。
就這樣，即使是一小段路，願意跟我一起在京都散步嗎?

For my next experiment with drilling holes into unexposed roll film, I've drilled all the way through and threaded the holes with electroluminescent string prior to loading it into the camera. Not sure what if any effect this will have.
The film is expired Fuji Velvia ISO 50 slide film.
