I have built four LOC/Precision rockets. The company is a leader in mid to high power rocketry, and they keep a playful spirit. I think it’s because the aliens actually run the shop.

On an ideal December evening I had the opportunity to get out from behind my desk and take a cruise around town on the golf cart. Under a clear sky filled with stars and a prefect 64 degrees I set out to get some photos of our beutiful neighborhood homes decorated for the holidays.
Habersham's homes range in size from cozy cottages to stately waterfront homes, but the one feature inherent to all Habersham homes is a welcoming front porch! We hope you'll enjoy viewing some of the beautiful homes and the Marketplace at Habersham all decked out with Christmas lights and Holiday cheer. Warmest wishes from our family to yours for a Merry Christmas and a joyous New Year!

This is a picture of a plant at my place. I took this picture a fill card behind me shining toward the plant. I liked how it turned out.
Mental... It's gold leaf! Was one of the highlights of Japan for me. Just chilling with my bro in front of this place letting time slip by and feeling the calm that existed there.
Many times photographers (especially me!) think flash should only be used at night or indoors! But when I was trying to photograph this scene, the shadows in the resulting image were too dark while the sunlit areas where exposed well. That’s when I remembered about what is called ‘fill-in flash’ which is pretty much using the flash to expose shadows/dark areas in daylight photography. After using the flash the resulting image was much improved.

FILL UP MARKET
The nostalgic trend of shopping in bulk, as if at the groceries, combined with todays’ technological systems, like automatic litre gaugers and accurate scales embodied in the product tankers at a supermarket where the consumer shops through programming a machine, could form a retro-futuristic consuming model.

This is my first attempt using fill flash (on camera speedlight) with a sunset behind a subject. It's not a great shot, but I'm learning. Feel free to give me some pointers.

Inspired by some written work i made to describe my experience with hypnagogic hallucinations:

Eyes flutter shut. Empty space is filled with sound. Whispers wash past her ears, shouts reverberate around the room. She is powerless to stop them, trapped in a realm balancing along the line of wakefulness and dream. The tide rises and falls, orchestras crescendo and silence with the waves. She lies in a bustling street, rain sliding down the planes of her cheeks, neon lights reflecting off the slick cobblestones. She hears the coins ring as they fall on the floor, the glass shatter on the pavement, the tyres grinding against the road. She hears the stories of people come and go, with whispers, shouts and screams. With numbers, poems and conversations. She tries to grasp them but they are ripped away by gusts of wind, caught in the flow of the tide and melted away into the neon streets.

This piece was a rollercoaster. I created it out of a sudden burst of inspiraton ideas after seeing a painting by Vladinsky from the 'Observer' series. Suddenly a title came to me, 'Neon Hypnagogia', and I knew that is what the piece had to be about. I had plans to make this piece wildly abstract with odd proportions, but the more I did the worse it looked. The piece changed over and over, taking new directions, ironically similar to the way I experienced these hallucinations. Even though I hated it I kept going and in the end I am happy with the final result even if it is totally different to how I imagined it to be.

I went to fill up last night and achieved an indicated 60.2mpg* on the trip computer, with over 700 miles covered; definitely a first for me, and not bad for a big ol' Ford Mondeo. Fuel's my biggest monthly bill now, hence why I'm driving like this: I spend more on diesel than on my mortgage, gas, and electricity bills combined. Roll on the water-powered flying hovercars...
*The trip computer's always optimistic, though. Probably closer to 56-57mpg in reality.
Having already established 1588 as the next move out of Newport Bus Station on the 6, 1617 turned up on the 7.
I wouldn't normally consider such a desperate move but as I'm not sure when I'll next be back I thought I'd do it out to Carisbrooke for the 6 forward.
The 16 reg batch (1613-1622) are easily discernible from their white as opposed to orange blind lettering.
The bus is seen prior to setting out from Newport Bus Station to Alum Bay, on a route which sees more Scanias than E400s.
