Did a 5.46 in the "Lightbulb" speed challenge at DPChallenge.com. a speed challenge is one in which you have only 24 hours to create an entry rather than the usual week. This one was started by a forum posting of a joke about "How many internet forum members does it take to screw in a lightbulb?" The topic got really long and out of hand and then the site admins decided it would be a fun and creative subject.
I sometimes worry that my wee camera will be damaged by me always looking at bright things through it (the sun, lightbulbs, fire etc). Do you know if it will be?

Modern bulbs have a glass base that extends high into the bulb, and used to support the filament against shock. These filaments run right from the base.
