This is a lily flower in my Texas garden. The lily flower contains the anther and filament of a stamen. The red pollen is the anther, and the green stalk is the filament. The anther is the pollen-bearing part of the stamen, and the filament is the stalk that bears the anther in a stamen. Collectively the stamens form the androecium.
