Chromosphere, sunspots, filaments.
Telescope Astrotech at65edq F6, Filter DayStar Quark.
Close-up at 4 meter of the solar surface, digital colored. In negative a small hellerman bomb next the penumbra became more visible.

First batch of plastic filament received today, 6 x 2.3 Kg spools, the two on the left being PLA and the other four ABS. Pretty colours. :-)
To reduce the likelihood of problems, this filament was ordered from the same source as the Shapercube, reprapsource.com .
Rose/Rose - Rosa
A rose is a woody perennial of the genus Rosa, within the family Rosaceae. There are over 100 species. They form a group of erect shrubs, and climbing or trailing plants, with stems that are often armed with sharp prickles. Flowers are large and showy, in colours ranging from white through yellows and reds. Most species are native to Asia, with smaller numbers native to Europe, North America, and northwest Africa. Species, cultivars and hybrids are all widely grown for their beauty and fragrance. Rose plants range in size from compact, miniature roses, to climbers that can reach 7 meters in height. in other news, i received an email from a flickr member who used this shot as part of a video for a song he wrote and performed. i appreciate that some people don't like to license their work too freely, particularly if they are trying to work in the world of commercial photography, but i have a fairly open cc license covering all my shots. this has allowed some worthy not-for-profits and artists to use my images in the past, and it's always great to hear that your creations are appreciated.

This was a test setup and I think I would change a few things if I was going to do it again. Exposure wasn't on the money and too much artificial noise came up in post.
