Scouts preparing for Anzac Day March 2022

Womad is held at the Adelaide Botanic Park. One of my favourite things about the park is the giant Moreton Bay Fig Trees.

this is actually a fig tree, a local landmark. the sad thing is that its historical significance is that it was the location for slavetrading.

Manor Heath Walled Garden

This figtree started as a seedling about 12m up in the fork of a cedar and sent its roots down strangling the cedar and eventually killing it. Some decomposed remains of the cedar are still in the base of the tree.

A huge fig tree in Terania Street, Russell Vale NSW

I took this in the cemetery one day at around sunset .I was there alone. The beautiful big old fig tree caught my attention as they always do ..I am a real tree lover. when I took the picture all looked good it wasn't until I got it on the computer did I see the white mist.. to this day I haven't figured out what it is . none of the other pics had it and I took a few pics standing in the same spot .. quite the mystery. I love the photo though it gets the imagination going for sure
