500 year old fig tree. It's actually 3 trees in one.

This huge fig tree was growing in the middle of a kid's playground. It looked to us like the best playground equipment of all!

I forgot the name of this type of fig and it has no tag for me to remember, but I decided to try and bonsai it in a away since it was in a TINY little pot and looked like it could do with a bigger one. So I potted it up the other day and after this shot was done I gave it a little trim. It might work. :)

Up closer to the house is where the fruit trees are. Here's Grannie showing me the little figs on her massive fig trees. She's going to call me when they are ripe so I (hopefully with my nephews' help) can pick them for her. We're going to make fig preserves and all sorts of other things

A fig tree growing in Brisbane. These aerial prop roots add support for the large boughs, allowing the tree to keep spreading and eventually cover a large area.

This is some type of banyan fig -- either a "true" (Indian) banyan (Ficus benghalensis) or a Moreton Bay fig (Ficus macrophylla). I can't tell them apart.

My first film camera. This was off the first roll. These are the fig trees so controversial in the Newcastle area. I park here for work sometimes and while most of the talk is about the Laman St figs, I will say the council have been inspecting this lot quite a bit lately.
