Flashback to the eighties
Eighties fashions seem to have fallen out of fashion, but there are a few looks I still like to recycle.
I’m rewearing a fifth grade trend. (At least it was a trend in my elementary school.) The cool fifth grade girls wore a v-neck sweater, backwards, over a racer-back tank. I raided my mother’s closet for an oversized, yellow sweater, which I wore over a yellow tank, instantly making me “cool.” (But not really.)
Sweater, Forever 21 (thrifted). Tank, Boao. Skirt, Billabong. Shoes, Durango. Earrings, self-made. Bag, A+ for Aldo.
Bon bon bon bon bon ... Je crois que c'est plus du tout ce que je voulais pour lui. Je pense même lui changer son nom du coup - mais j'ai pas d'idée. Les vôtres sont les bienvenues ~ Mise a part ça, j'en suis super contente !
he's not any more the character I wanted for him.May be I'm going to change his name to. But I haven't any idea. If you are thinking of a good name for him, please post it in comment! Thanks !
"I need a priest".
As usual, building the figures was a big part of the fun. Rather than building two figures that simply stand side-by-side, I decided to have a slightly more interesting pose.
It's official, I have a new website just for my New York City Photo Tours! You can see it at www.shootnewyorkcity.com and there is also a link at www.leannestaples.com After much thought and a little help from a good friend, I realized that separating my photography and art from my photo tours makes sense. I have also done some improvements to this site. I hope that you enjoy it! Thanks!

A painting by George Harvey (1801–1878) entitled Nightfall, St. Thomas Church, Broadway, New York (c. 1837) currently in the collection of the Museum of the City of New York, shows the first Saint Thomas Church on the corner of Broadway and Houston Street
Saint Thomas Church, located at the corner of 53rd Street and Fifth Avenue in the borough of Manhattan in New York, New York in the United States, is an Episcopal parish church of the Episcopal Diocese of New York. It is also known as Saint Thomas Church Fifth Avenue or as Saint Thomas Church in the City of New York and was incorporated on 9 January 1824. The current structure, completed in 1914, is the fourth church built to house this congregation and was designed by the architects Ralph Adams Cram and Bertram Grosvenor Goodhue in the French High Gothic Revival style.[2]
The church is home to the Saint Thomas Choir of Men and Boys, a choral ensemble comprising men and boys which performs music of the Anglican tradition at worship services and offers a full concert series during the course of the year. The boys of the Saint Thomas Choir (as the men are professional singers) are enrolled at the Saint Thomas Choir School, the only church-affiliated residential choir school in the United States.

Many of us crucify ourselves between two thieves--regret for the past and fear of the future.

My husbands hospital room is on the 5th floor. The view is pretty good. He's having an angiogram and any necessary repairs to his heart tomorrow, so it should help him to recover.

“There is a fifth dimension, beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition.”

if it seems to you that I've been building nothing but my own versions of _Tiler's stuff (hovertaxi, tumbler, spinner).... I don't blame you. I just can't resist. I hope you don't mind (Tiler)?

May 27th is the date when my fiancee proposed to me. We celebrate that day as our Love Anniversary. This year we celebrated our 5th Anniversary. This photograph was taken to make that day immortal in our lives.
