Dailyshoot: The printed newspaper isn't as common as it used to be. Find a newspaper today and make a photo any way you like!
I found this pouch several months ago. It's made by the North Face brand. I guess it is designed for passport. But it does fit for the Kokuyo Fieldnote exactly.
The last few months worth of filled up books. Finances, 3d sketches, evil plans, furniture layouts, retirement plans, shopping lists, and on and on...
When I was high school student, a teacher of Japanese language taught us that "find a book that bears for reading three times". It is still rare for me to meet such a good book, but I'm trying to find them.
I put stamp on a book each time I read it. What I see is the "history of reading". :)
Airbus A320, Field Notes and my wonderful Field Notes-size case by Popov Leather ... a perfect combination!

Time-stamping is kind of routine work, especially for fieldnote. I recommend to use rubber stamp for this purpose. The format makes increase visibility, same effect as using label-printer. I bought it at 100 yen shop ($1 shop).

I made address and phone list as well. Once I make it, I can reuse it. I use 6pt to 7pt tiny fonts for the list. Listed here are myself (in case I drop this fieldnote), my parents, my company, supervisor, colleagues. Keep minimum.
Using my first Field Notes book to record the coffees I have had this year. I purchased a coffee card that gets me one year of free coffee, iced tea, and soft drinks on December 19, 2007: $130.
Drank enough coffee by March 3, 2008 to have paid off the card.
Project 365 December 13 Day 347 347/365
Spent the day (and yesterday) listening to student presentations and taking notes.
Hooray! Blue arrived today. After denying myself so many purchases, a pack of three notebooks is really splashing out! Also, husband cracked a laugh over the "Band of Rubber" included. I love the clicky ballpoint pens that come with these, but secretly not a fan of the pencil other than as a desk accessory. Nevermind. I had to amend this because I just sharpened one up, and the lead was much softer than I remembered. Just about perfect in fact, but I still love the Rhodias - their orange and black color scheme look smashing with Field Notes.
Outgoing notes include:
The Euthanasia Coaster
“The Plague Year” by Lawrence Wright
My Favourite Films of 2020
Lokmades and the Kalikantzari
Dan Harmon's Circle Theory of Story
“The Things” by Donald Hall
Machine Zone; Scripturient; Pettifogger; Kenopsia; Karoshi / Gwarosa; Bibliomancy
Chuck Palahniuk; Susan Sontag; Jean-Luc Godard; Takashi Miike; Beethoven; John Cassavetes; Charles Willeford; Ray Bradbury; Anthony Burgess; Martin Luther King; Jean Cocteau
The pages of my Field Notes notebook are coming loose at the staples. Time to switch to a new one, I guess. I think I have some new blank notebooks around here somewhere.

The Zebra F-701 fine-point pen isn't my favorite to write with, but I've never had one leak in my pocket, which has been an issue with gel and roller ball pens.

I needed some working-on-stuff trousers. Several of the belt loops on my inexpensive denim jeans are broken and the knees are worn through. I thought I'd try a pair of Wrangler "carpenter pants."

After nearly a month of daily wear, the Seestern DOX01 wristwatch is proving to be an adequate "tool watch."

Amusing comment I read online today, specifically about pocket notebooks but applicable to pretty much any "boutique" product:
"'You haven't heard of it and they're impossible to get' died out with the hipsters in 2019."
