I spent a morning with the Braodfoot wild horse herd located near Eminence, Missouri. Mostly, they ate grass, but these two horses got into it at one point.

So many pictures from today, I'm sure I'll be putting more up tomorrow, but for now, I'm pretty sure it's time for bed :-)

"Home, home again

I like to be here when I can

When I come home cold and tired

It's good to warm my bones beside the fire

Far away across the field

The tolling of the iron bell

Calls the faithful to their knees

To hear the softly spoken magic spells"

Poppies pictured near Hunton Bridge, Watford. Not the full field I was hoping for but lovely all the same.

I actually felt really ill at the time but saw the field and the light as I was driving along and knew I'd regret it if I didn't stop. Scraped my knees on the ground getting this as well!

i was hoping the clouds would hold off for a bit tonight so i could try and get a few startrails. after a bit of faffing about getting a decent angle without sinking in a deep bog, losing the stars in light fog and light pollution it paid off. i would have liked to get a photo with just the dead tree in it but it was impossible with the heavily flooded area around the tree.

i bumped into a bloke that patrols the farmers(Mick) field at night. i'll be honest i had no permission to be on his field but once i explained what i was doing he was sound(for those that dont speak scouse that means "ok with it" lol). the bright light in the foreground is his headtorch.

hopefully Mick likes the Photo :)

After dropping my brother off at college last weekend, I decided to take the less scenic route through the farm country of Southern Minnesota. Much of what you see in this region is similar to the photo above--corn and soybeans. This particular town, Janesville, has a population of 2100 people and a land area of 1.3 square miles.
