So I have decided to do a series of confessions about me. Things that people may not necessarily know about me. Not a huge project, just something introspective that hightlights some of my quirkiness.
#1: I'm not nervous too often, but when I am I act like a basketcase. Clicking pens is probably the worst habit I have. click-click.....click-click.
I belong to the Streetsboro Quilt Guild in Ohio, and one of our service projects is to make fidget quilts for people with Alzheimer's/dementia.
My world is filled with travel, quilting and volunteering.
My last adventure was (section) hiking the Buckeye Trail in Ohio - all 1,477 miles!

These are Dexters two baby boys at about 3-4 weeks old. The lighter one is Fidget as he never sat still, and the darker one is Wizzer as when he as a few days old he peed all over me.

Journalling reads: It seems that you are going to take after both of your big brothers and be a little troublemaker. Yet again I found myself being referred to the hospital for an appointment with the Urgent Gynae Clinic for an emergency scan thanks to pain and bleeding, and the doctors fearing you were an ectopic pregnancy. After a super early start and a lot of waiting around it was finally time to have a scan. It only took a few seconds for them to see that you were exactly where you were supposed to be and you had a teeny tiny little heartbeat. I can’t begin to tell you how relieved we all felt when we saw that. We hardly even blinked when they said you were smaller than the dates said you should be and gave us a revised due date of 27th August It’s a good job we already love you Baby Fidget! 16/01/2009.

Limerick was Ireland’s festival capital this weekend as hordes of thrill-seekers, culture vultures, food connoisseurs and fun runners flowed into the city to celebrate Riverfest Limerick 2019. The banks of the Shannon was the epi-centre of the first major national festival of the year as thousands attended events that celebrate the city and it's prized asset, its waterways.
Now in its 15th year, Riverfest Limerick attracts families and daredevils from all over Ireland who can enjoy everything from aerial acrobatics shows, zorbing, to zip lining across the River Shannon.

Journalling reads: For most people pregnancy ultrasounds are a rare and magical experience, a single chance (unless you need a dating scan or have any issues) to take a sneak peek at your baby, to see them moving and marvel at how perfect they are and then take home a scan photo to cherish and share with everyone. Truthfully as much as I hate to admit it, ultrasounds were such a frequent and thanks to the issues with my stomach painful part of pregnancy I found it hard to experience any sort of wonder or joy in the process. I had lots of scan photos and it became hard to keep track of all the details, but I managed to find a few for these 2 on my blog. It seems funny to think when these were taken, we didn’t know for sure if you were a boy or a girl, but without doubt you were already loved and our little Fidget.

On Wednesday Night I was one of the 300 people who braved the cold weather to go see Attack of the Circus in the Black Box, or should I say the bloody Ice Box seeing as there was no heating in there either Tuesday for our dress rehearsal or for Wednesday for the show itself.
The show was worth braving the cold though. It was a wonderful night. Well done the wonderful Chantal, Jym & Lee from Fidget Feet Aerial Dance Troupe who worked so hard with the group. I'm really looking forward to seeing The Snow Queen now at the end of January. Don't forget to book your tickets early to avoid disappointment. I know I'm going to. :o)
This chair was designed and made by Alex Jess. Alex is very interested in not only furniture but also with the way people interact with the everyday objects around them. One of the concepts that really interested this young designer was the way people ‘fidget’.
This chair embodies these motions. Through the use of bungee cord, rocking arches and a static base, the occupant of ‘Fidget’ is able to move freely and smoothly in multiple directions, whilst always being comfortable, secure and supported.
