Tonight I had the pleasure of going to see Fidget Feet Aerial Dance Troupe perform The Snow Queen in The Black Box.
If any of you are in the Galway area this weekend, please go see it. You will be spellbound for the whole show. It was brilliant. So funny. I loved Lee's portrayal of The Raven. I was in stitches. Excellent. Go, watch, enjoy, tell your friends. I think I might go again myself before they're finished. :o)

There's this old hole near the fence that Fidget and Mouse dug out and abandoned. I fill it with water every couple of days in the summer because the three geese and Waccamaw the duck love it.
Once the water soaks in a little, it makes a proper little mire, thin mud and waterfowl poop, an unwholesome near-soup that we call "Duckwasser".
It occurred to Fidget that this was the PERFECT spot to tunnel under the fence and come down to the house for the night.
Fidget is a steady working dog who takes life as it comes.
She is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean and reverent.
OK, Fidget is not infallibly clean and only intermittently reverent. One of her nicknames is "Sister Maculata".
She had hotspots again this year. Last year we treated them with a not-so-effective mange regimen. This year we tried an allergy approach that worked much better, though it involved a lot of strong medicine.
She'll be starting allergy shots in the fall.

The technical name for these fabulous, tiny little balls is "dodecahedron". Some call it a Japanese ball. I call them "Fidgets". Why fidgets? Quite simply because once you pick up one of these chainmaille & glass balls, barely larger than a quarter, you will not be able to put it down!
Perfect for the person who's hands always need to be playing with something. The lightweight, aluminum rings are not too snug woven through the glass rings.
