About 2 months ago, I joined the Minneapolis Boston Terrier Meetup Group. The group had just formed two weeks before I had joined. Basically, it's a group of Boston Terrier owners who get together once a month with their Bostons. We had our 1st meetup in November. There were only 4 of us at that one. This time, there were about 10 people and 11 dogs. It was awesome. I was in Boston Terrier heaven! We chose an indoor dog play facility for this meetup (and for the next few months) because it's cold here in Minnesota. When the summer rolls around, we will meet at various dog parks in the Twin Cities. The pictures that I took suck pretty bad for a couple of reasons. One reason is that it's difficult to get a good shot of multiple dogs running in opposite directions. Also, the lighting in the place we were at was less than desirable for photography purposes. Hopefully I'll get better pictures in the coming months.
The lake is still frozen, so to burn off all of Hannah's pent up energy I usually just take her up to play fetch for a while.
Deuce returning the ball to me after Mark threw it in the backyard (yes, our backyard is a parking lot).
Throw ball, grab camera and wait for them to return. Didn't take long!
Cropped with GIMP, not sure why it has stripped the EXIF data out. It hasn't done so with another cropped image I've posted.
Pictures from a while back at my parents house. My brother was playing fetch outside with his dog so I figured I'd bring the camera along.
This was actually their bath. I threw the stick a couple of times, lathered them up with biodegradeable dog shampoo, then kept playing. Worked a treat!
Fang loves to play fetch. She's a natural at it, I didn't have to teach her a thing! She's really smart. I'm working on getting to the point where I don't need to use verbal commands for her to sit, stay, and fetch. I'm trying to do those commands with my hands, and we are pretty close to her having that figured out, just got to work on it for a few more days.
Ocho on the other hand, she doesn't grasp the concept of fetch.
