Loren and I watched Ferris Bueller's Day Off last night on the quads. It's a classic, and we had fun watching it with all the freshmen... except for the girl sitting directly behind me who spoke along with every line of dialogue, and even sang the music. Overkill!
I went to bed with a germ of an idea last night after watching Second Screen Cult Cinema's presentation of Rushmore. By morning a fully fledged concept had formed so after a little Photoshop work I'm now ready to start on the screenplay...
Groupon sponsored the 25th anniversary of the film "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" by playing it at Wrigley Field. Because I know someone who used to date the guy who is best friends with the dude who founded the company, I was given a free VIP ticket, which included food and drinks and sitting uncomfortably on the field. My back still says "Ow!"
