Dire Straits - Private Investigations
www.youtube.com/watch?v=P9K27HvhDxA
It's a mystery to me, the game commences
For the usual fee, plus expenses
Confidential information, it's a diary
This is my investigation, it's not a public inquiry
I go checking out the reports, digging up the dirt
You get to meet all sorts in this line of work
Treachery and treason, there's always an excuse for it
And when I find the reason I still can't get used to it
And what have you got at the end of the day?
What have you got to take away?
A bottle of whiskey and a new set of lies
Blinds on the window and a pain behind the eyes
Scarred for life, no compensation
Private investigations

Hummingbird sage, is a species of Salvia native to a wide area of South America, including Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, and Argentina. It is a perennial subshrub growing 4 to 5 ft (1.2 to 1.5 m) tall, spreading into a large patch. The inflorescences are up to 25 cm (9.8 in) long with flowers in various shades of blue, including an uncommonly true blue. Salvia guaranitica is a popular ornamental plant in mild areas.
The hens are enjoying their freedom to roam round the garden. I have four hens, all retired from egg-laying. They’re funny, affectionate, intelligent, wacky. They’re never too keen to return to their hen house, luxurious though it is. This is Fee, studiously ignoring me. Grabbed with the iPhone.
I am sure he is just trying to get a better look at what is in the water, but it sure feals like he is looking at me and giving me the nod.
We are at 3,445 m (11,302 ft) altitude, in Mittelallalin, outlet of the “Alpine metro”. On arrival, a landscape of great beauty is revealed before our amazed eyes. We have a front row seat to admire the nearby Allalinhorn (4,027 m - 13,212 ft). Summer skiing is practiced here. It was late morning, it was mild and the weather was radiant. We met lots of returning skiers there (from the end of the morning, skiing was no longer allowed, because it was too mild).
The “Alpine metro” is an underground funicular, the highest in Europe. Built in 1984, it extends the cable car which goes from Saas-Fee to Felskinn (2,980 m - 9,977 ft). Its tunnel is 1,447 meters (4,747 feet) long, with a height difference of 465 meters and a maximum slope of 48%. In about 3 minutes (source: Wikipedia), we go from 2,980 m (9,843ft) to 3,445 meters (11,302 ft).
