The theme this week for our local photography club is “ peaceful easy feeling”. I submitted this one from our trip to Lake Superior in September. In these days leading up to the hectic holiday happenings, it is good to ground yourself in a memory like this while looking forward to the next road trip to find that peaceful easy feeling again.

Snail sings the blues on a rock covered in a beautiful turquoise blue/grey coloured lichen. A little spray of water was all that was needed to bring out the colour of the lichen.
No snails were harmed in the making of this photograph.
