We've had record high temps here this week so I had to invert the colors to make it look more wintery. Sky was actually blue and trees were green ;)
I try to avoid entering the house through the back patio door. There's a tree next to the patio that drops these berries all over the ground, mostly when it rains or gets windy. Getting to the back door involves maneuvering across this mine field of berries, usually in the dark (there's no light back here). One misstep = gunk on my shoes :(

The morning sun slowly burns its way through a thick winter fog that blanketed the countryside and left a spectacular hoar frost on all vegetation.
Layers of Freezing Rain Coated everything, closed school, and provided interesting photo oppertunities.
