Once the arch liner has been removed, you'll see the bonnet release cable clipped into the inside of the arch. Work this gradually with a flat head screwdriver and pull until the fastener pops out.

 

*Remove the fastener from the cable and put to one side as this will make feeding the cable in/out easier.
