My oldest daughter- Kathrine- married her boyfriend of ten years- Tyler. They've been together over ten years, living together for at least nine of those years. When they realized that the anniversary of their buying the house landed on a Friday the 13th, they decided to get married. The plan was to quietly elope, then have a New Year's Eve party. While everyone was at the party, they'd announce that they'd gotten married and it was their reception.
However, it got a little more involved and Tyler's mom- Jodi- and his sister- Mallory- did all the organizing and decorating. Grandmoms made the food (except for the cake and cupcakes). I made ribbon cockades for the wedding party (to save money on flowers) and I took photos.
Kat had her big little brother as her Maid of Honor, her little sister as the ordained officiant, and their dog- Bruiser- as the ring bear (yes, bear. Bruiser is very bear-like).

Week 2
This week's challenge was "blur the action." I had planned to try and do a panning photo with some cars outside, but the weather and my schedule didn't align this week. So I enlisted the help of my son and his RC car inside our house. This proved pretty difficult due to the small space and tiny subject. It's not as in focus as I'd like, but it's the best I could do with the short attention span of my assistant.
