Melissa is a member of the pink team in the For the Love of Blythe book project. I had the pleasure to meet her and her darling daughter, Olivia, in person last year in Toronto at the Halloween Blythe Meet. Melissa is the sweetest person and you can feel it in her designs too. Her lovely dresses always make our dolls look not only the sweetest but also very stylish. The way Melissa use lace, add matching hair bows, combine fabrics and renew her patterns makes our Blythes definitely look as the “best dressed dolls” around!

Strobist Info: 580EX-II in a yellowish lamp shade behind dress form at 1/8, right left to the dress form (so, camera left) a 580ex-II (without gel) at 1/2 into an shoot through umbrella and a Elinchrom 1200S at very low power (about 80Ws) shooting into the room with a golden reflector to give the idea of tungsten lit room. Additionaly a golden reflector (Sunbounce) behind the fashion designer to add some shades of light (reduced again in post. picture is quite a lot edited).
Idea was to get a warm and comfortable feeling. (well on a b/w picture that all is nonsense, yet it may not hurt to know the intents :-) )
