iumi asked me to do a photoshoot for her latest piece, a pretty awesome fleece neck warmer she has on sale over at her etsy shop
After scouting for a location up in the Berkeley hills, we found a park that had really good colors, texture and light. We did a quick photoshoot with just the available light + 1 SB600. For a second, I felt a real photographer. I think I now know what I want to be when I grow up.
Still trying to figure out how to do better product shots that are a good blend between a portrait and a product shot while maintaining a subtle but quiet atmosphere. If you have any feedback or suggestions, I'd love to hear!

Going to use Razorlab.co.uk to cut and engrave the pieces. Each handle will have three layers. The one in the middle will have room for wires, LEDs, magnets and a reverse reed switch.

I love vintage foundation garments. Making Victorian corsets was really wonderful. I always wanted to learn to make other lingerie.

I made this outfit several years ago for a fashion show fundraiser for Destination Foundation--a non-profit that arranges dream trips for the terminally ill.
The outfit was made from upholstery fabrics donated by a local furniture design company whose name is aggravatingly eluding me (starts with a 'K.' Big company. )
The jacket is one I've made a few times. It's a very simple design that works remarkably well as a removable outer layer--it also looks smart tied around the waist. I like to put a small pocket on the sleeve for cash and cards, which is very cute. Want one? Contact me!
