Upcycling shop in Wirksworth. Old tat repurposed, usually into a lamp...some of which is quite attractive and some...well, let’s be kind, some not so much.

It would be a cheap to attack religion on this one, since I was amazed by it.

Sometimes a bit of fancy footwork will dazzle those fish into submission. Lance-A-Lot moves gracefully though the shallow water on Horsepen bayou in search of his next meal. Tri-colored Heron doing a bit of foraging on the bayou.

It must have been cold and window on the June day I took this photo since the female mountain bluebird is all fluffed up and her soft belly feathers have blown out. Going back to check on the weather for that morning, it was indeed cool and windy (6 degrees Celcius with winds from 20 - 30 km/hr).

The little lady is shown here perched on her bird box, which is really showing its age. On my most recent visit in early August, the premises was empty. No bluebirds in the area at all (normally 4 pairs). Looking forward to welcoming them again in early March.

The S curve in Elk River is a nice shot for eastbounds so I went to find the Builder with 161 on the point. Running "wrong" main at track speed, they'll be getting around an eastbound manifest at Ramsey before getting into the cities.

Took this during a vist at my cousins house! Happy Sunday everyone, enjoy =)

Posting early because (a) I'll likely forget to and, (b) I'll be travelling all day this Friday towards Invermere, BC for a vacation in the Rockies. Any photo spot/viewpoint recommendations around Invermere, Banff, Canmore are greatly appreciated ;-)

"Fancy" by Drake

You just do it for yourself, you the f*king coldest

Intelligent too, ooh you my sweetheart

I've always liked my women book and street smart

Long as they got a lil' class like half days

And the confidence to overlook my past ways

Time heals all and heels hurt to walk in

But they go with the clutch that you carry your lip gloss in

And look, I really think nobody does it better

I love the way that you put it together, uh

I am attempting to actually make an absolutely white meal but first I wanted to try this with sashimi grade tuna and using biscuit cutters to make my meal look fancy. Not that you can see but this is rice swimming in white miso with shredded daikon radish on top, then the tuna.
