One of my gorgeous indoor Hibiscus. We finally have sunshine today! Wishing you all a sun-filled day my friends =)
Upcycling shop in Wirksworth. Old tat repurposed, usually into a lamp...some of which is quite attractive and some...well, let’s be kind, some not so much.
Detail of a 20 euro note.
Ik wilde graag een afbeelding van planten of dieren, maar kon er geen vinden. De laatste guldenbiljetten hadden die afbeeldingen wel, maar helaas niet bewaard.
I was hoping for a plant of animal on a note, but I have not kept any guilder notes. The last 50 guilder note was with sunflowers and the last 100 guilder note had an image of a snipe.
Thanks for taking time to fave, comment and look at my work. I really appreciate.

The Pendle Inn, Barley, Lancashire
This is a stone-built pub in Barley, Lancashire and is closely associated with the area's rich history of the 1612 Pendle witch trials.
The current building was constructed in the 1930s, though an earlier inn existed in a smaller, private cottage in the village before 1876.
The area is famous for the Pendle Witch Trials which saw 12 people accused of witchcraft, resulting in 11 executions at Lancaster Castle
As promised, an annual look at the autumn which happily surrounds me for a few weeks every year. When posting a series, I try to present a concept which hopefully makes for a better look at the whole; in this case the bigger view pictured above and some of the individual components blending together to create that scene pictured below. The idea, of course, is that you can feel a greater part of the experience of walking about in this rather remarkable environment. And what better than a lazy, sunny Sunday to enjoy it...
My daily routine has to start with a mug of tea (or preferably two). Don't even think about talking to me until I've finished the first one!

Sometimes a bit of fancy footwork will dazzle those fish into submission. Lance-A-Lot moves gracefully though the shallow water on Horsepen bayou in search of his next meal. Tri-colored Heron doing a bit of foraging on the bayou.

sldesignnotebook.blogspot.com/2018/12/a-sincere-thank-you...
I want to take a moment to thank all the wonderful people who have trusted me with blogging their creations, to all those who have given me tips and answered my never ending questions.
I have a very stressful, IT job in RL and by nature am an introvert, so I often don't think about all the blessing I have nor am I comfortable expressing my gratitude. I am also very shy about reaching out to my SL Community.
I have been loving Second Life since 2008 and it has never been better for me than it is now. I owe that to all my SL friends and supporters.
Have a wonderful holiday and may 2019 be your best year ever - Augusta
From a week's family vacation in a rented house in Skagen, Denmark - April 05, 2021.
The photo is taken at Skagen Odde Nature Centre north of the town.
Seem to be drawn to benches of late. From today's dog walk.

The St. Paul Turn returns to home base after a day down in St. Paul doing some interchange work with the CP. Here they throttle up through an intersection in Hopkins where a flyover for the future extension of the LRT green line out to Eden Prarie.
Inside the Brewery we find all the vehicles neatly parked up...oh how tempting it was to go for a spin!
The S curve in Elk River is a nice shot for eastbounds so I went to find the Builder with 161 on the point. Running "wrong" main at track speed, they'll be getting around an eastbound manifest at Ramsey before getting into the cities.
:-) HFF!
Posting early because (a) I'll likely forget to and, (b) I'll be travelling all day this Friday towards Invermere, BC for a vacation in the Rockies. Any photo spot/viewpoint recommendations around Invermere, Banff, Canmore are greatly appreciated ;-)

You just do it for yourself, you the f*king coldest
Intelligent too, ooh you my sweetheart
I've always liked my women book and street smart
Long as they got a lil' class like half days
And the confidence to overlook my past ways
Time heals all and heels hurt to walk in
But they go with the clutch that you carry your lip gloss in
And look, I really think nobody does it better
I love the way that you put it together, uh
