For ds2009:
I chose the theme of diversity in cultures, races and religions.
Surprisingly there are still a number of myths to be dispelled concerning Down's syndrome and even now some people ask the question: ‘Does Down’s syndrome exist in every race’?
I hope that my photos clearly show that cultural backgrounds, family values,
aspirations and environmental influences all help to shape the individuality of a person with Down’s syndrome, in the same way that it would for anyone else.
These images and more will be produced in a desktop diary for 2009, which will be available for purchase from the UK Down's Syndrome Association website, from mid-late September.

Took a client to Wal-Mart, you know, the store whose corporate owners like to tout their family values. I was very intrigued to find these periodicals (alongside all the gossip over the Kardashians, whoever they are). All the while, Christmas music was playing in the background and the decorations were up in all their glory. Here were two I liked: "Find out why your government doesn't..." and "predator firepower." So, fellow shoppers. Merry Christmas, peace on Earth, and goodwill to men.

Finally, I have a good picture of the two of us.
I had to keep making jokes to keep him from crying.

Yes, it's against the law. It violates the U.S. Flag Code and New Hampshire law (where he signed it) besides. McCain, of course, has voted for the "Flag Desecration Amendment" at every available opportunity.
The U.S. Flag Code -- passed into law on June 22, 1942.

Due to his personal and professional experiences at the global level, Cesar has a bicultural approach, which has allowed him to give Inclusive Surrogacy a multinational vision.
His passion for #surrogacy began when he witnessed her daughter's frustration about not being able to carry her own baby, which led her to start a #surrogacyjourney in the USA. So over time, and with the advice of recognized professionals both in Chicago, Illinois. as in Madrid, Spain, he decided to create an organization that could help others fulfill their dreams of starting a family.
So, I have not had the time to take many photos lately. Been planning the Big Day...
These are the m&m's that go in our party favors. The print quality is not what I hoped for. But, they are cute and get the point accross.

A joyful wedding party is captured as the couple walks hand in hand with their daughters, dressed elegantly in a historic building filled with warmth and celebration.
This little tyke gave a gritty effort to stay on his ewe, but took a nasty spill. But his loving father was there with wide open arms and a tender smile to let him know how proud he was of his child's effort - for having the guts to try something scary.
A life lesson for all of us, and a great sermon illustration for any of you preachers out there.

I had a little bunny
Who played when it was sunny
He was very naughty
And a bit haughty
He was brown and white
And also very fast
He is out of sight
He has big ears long and furry
If he hears his enemy he hops in a hurry
He runs and hops to reduce his fat
To escape from a dog or cat
He likes carrots
And vegetables that are green
Sometimes he is very unsure
What to eat
He couldn't choose the treat
Richy is a hairy little thief
He nibbles all over the cabbage leaves
I am glad hares do not come in herds
Then all the cabbages would be gone
In the whole, wide, world
Even though he is naughty
He is lovable you know
That is why I love him so.
I've seen this guy around other parts of SF. In this case, he was on a Chinatown street corner, positioned right next to a woman with a microphone and loudspeaker (see next photo) who was belting out information about the Chinese Communist government's practice of harvesting human organs to sell them on the black market. This guy was continuously telling passersby that that woman was a prostitute. A second woman was handing out restaurant flyers while also denouncing the first woman.
