Anemonefish often called Clownfish or more fondly Nemo.
The name, Clownfish, came from their markings on the face and body similar to those of a clown. I think they even move erratically (for me trying to take pictures) like a clown. They live exclusively in the stinging anemones, their host, to which they become immune by coating themselves with the mucus of the host. They are fierce in the defense of their territory, even more fierce in the defense of their eggs. They nip or bite you if you get too close. So far I have never skipped the Nemo site without taking at least one picture.
A close-up of some of the hieroglyphics in the false door. Again, you can see how the arid conditions managed to preserve the pigments really well.
June 25, 2017. I tried this new tuna in Costco because it looked appertizing. But the contents in no way resenbled the appealing image on the box. In theory I suppose this is tuna. Shredded tuna. Or Little Lisa's Slurry. Even the cats won't eat it.
Sisymbrium loeselii is a species of flowering plant in the mustard family known by several common names, including small tumbleweed mustard, tall hedge mustard, and false London rocket. It is native to Eurasia, and it is known on other continents as an introduced species and in some areas a common roadside weed. It is an annual herb producing a hairy, erect stem which can exceed a meter in height. The leaf blades are divided into triangular, lance-shaped, and toothed linear lobes, and are borne on petioles. The top of the stem is occupied by a raceme of flowers with bright yellow petals each measuring just under a centimeter long. The fruit is a silique up to 3.5 centimeters in length containing tiny seeds.

This is the Nayland Rock shelter again, photographed from the beach side, but I've flipped it so "False" reads the right way. Deliberately left the T there to suggest "True", but in fact the word is "Teeth". Anyone know why "False Teeth" is written on this shelter?

A shot I neglected from that shoot, dragged it out and here it is. Okay, so it's my flag, my country, but I really quite like this one, couldn't get the sky too bright due to the expanse of bright matter in the fore of the shot but it still came out well.
