I take no responsibility for this one though. My midwife wanted to make sure I wasn't leaking amniotic fluid, so The Man and I spent HOURS in the labor & delivery department of the hospital yesterday. Everything was fine.

Mangosteen or Purple Mangosteen (Garcinia mangostana) had been acknowledged by almost everyone in the tropical fruit world as the QUEEN of the fruits (I would guess that Mango or Durian is therefore the KING of the fruits ?).
A lesser known Mangosteen with many medicinal values had been thriving in India since ancient times but with a not-so-desirable taste. Because of its taste, it had been variously called Sour Mangosteen and False Mangosteen among few not so endearing names.
Here are few of the Sanskrit names;
Bhavishya
Kalakhanda
Pichchalabija
Tamala
Vakrashodana
False Mangosteen or Sour Mangosteen / Tamal Fruits (Bengali)
Garcinia xanthochymus
Family Clusiaceae

This one was taken near Simon's Town (South Africa).
So this is False Bay in front of us. In the background, we can see the other side coast.
Just some more informations :
On the left, the big halo of light pollution is due to Strand, Gordons Bay and Somerset West.
One can see Pringle Bay on the right side. It's the last lights before the final peak.
