So tricky, yet so femme! These are individuals versus the strips, and it's debatable which are easier to work with. Slathering on gobs of mascara that often ends up flaking off into my eyes is the option to false lashes, and I always seem to be caught between a rock and a hard place when it comes to choosing how to dress my lashes. Mascara and falsies are both challenging, and I've found that a lighter application of the former followed by strategic placement of the singles provides a nice look.

Trying some false colour just for the fun of it. :)

These are quite common and grow to a great size on the Mendocino coast. Their official name is Turbinellus floccosus, previously known as Gomphus floccosus , they are quite photogenic and colorful. These specimens are much more pale than normal.

Granville and Burrard bridges cross False Creek in Vancouver.

This was the first time I used my 80-210 telephoto from the helicopter. It performed well and provided much more in the way of individual subjects, different angles and generally better detail. This Tokina Autofocus is such a nice lens. f/4 throughout the range means you can shoot in even cloudy weather with good results.

These ruins are in an alcove up on a cliff wall in Canyonlands NP. There is no official trail to this site and I've been here twice and never seen another person. It's a great place to spend a peaceful afternoon - it's in the shade and you won't hear a sound except for the wind and the birds. It's amazing to think that people actually lived in here a few hundred years ago...it's a killer view but where do you go to get water?

Impressions of paws, hooves and boots left in the mud by visitors to the river's edge.

This lasted for quite a while. I presume the translucent and thin clouds in the area created a humidity / ice situation which allow this to occur. The video, preceding this photo, was taken perhaps 5-10 minutes before this photo. Whatever was in the atmosphere stayed there for some time.
