Water levels are higher then ever on the Great Lakes, which has an effect on trees and plant life at Point Pelee National Park on the shores of Lake Erie. These fallen trees provide a focal point on this early morning, with a sky that was incredible just before sunrise. Unfortunately these lost trees will just become more driftwood scattered on the beach at the tip of the park.
A small pinecone fallen onto the edge of the curved corrugated iron roof of the sweetest rotunda in the Adelaide Botanic Gardens.
Flowers of Barringtonia racemosa (powder puff tree) open at night and fall in the next morning. The Barringtonia racemosa distributes along coasts of Indian Ocean and tropical Pacific Ocean. In Japan it is found in Iriomote and Ishigaki islands, Okinawa. Beautiful fallen flowers of it floating on water can be seen by sightseeing tours there. The photo was taken at Higashiyama Botanical Garden, Nagoya, Japan.
