fall foliage seen from Beartown Lakes Reservation

after having lived in new york shithole with little access to TREES and now in sf with a very stable climate, i actually FORGOT what fall felt like. and looked like.

 

this paved sidewalk is where the railroad tracks used to run in my town before they shut the train down altogether. i remember watching the train from behind the fence at my daycare, and once in a while the conductor would blow the horn for us.

Some leaves have already fallen with the recent rain and wind but the remaining leaves are pretty. No invites to new groups please.

Jeff, Kris, Melissa , Robyn and I frolicked up north. Turkey Jims Covered Bridge. Lots of color around this one.
