What has surprised me is that we have enough red to make the yellow stand out better.

I drove by this tree and passed it by. I then reconsidered and turned around to get a photo before the leaves dropped further. (Taken in Groton, CT). No invites to new groups please.

Mahonia bush in my backyard. I just love the color of this leaf.

It's a purple-red, fading to almost orange with yellow veining and then green

on the edge. Photo doesn't do it justice.
