Georgia. Not a common fall migrant here but pretty reliable within a two week window beginning the last week or so of September. Sometimes they will come to their call even this late in the season. There were two birds working the privet which had a few ripe purple berries.

Falling all Over lots of acorns and leaves are coming down now with more getting ready to jump off,, shot in North Carolina.
The trees on the edge of my favorite pond are at 100% colour and the wind was super calm to get the-is shot.

The sun was gracious enough to allow us to get into position to grab some beautiful captures on this perfect fall morning before making its appearance. It's been a challenging Fall due to the lack of cloudy days & rain, but I'm quite pleased to have had at least one (1) excellent outing. :) -H3

A video for 2009:
Fall on the Gunpowder Falls River in Baltimore County, Maryland. With the lower water level was able to get out into the riverbed.
When composing this shot, I was thinking of how the water was falling gently from step to step. How separated this was from the main water falls. And, how the flow led my eyes from the dark top, to the bright bottom.
At the bottom of the shot, a small tree had leaves that were clinging onto their branches. Their golden color went well with the bright area and the image took form. From the lifeless darkness at the top, to the brighter and more lively bottom, a story took shape.
