This reflection made me feel like I was falling up towards the sky.

On a recent trip to Poconos, I was trying hard to find images of the cute towns with crazy fall colors. I came across this adorable church and cemetery that was bursting with Fall colors. I knew I wanted to frame the church with color, and get some of the tombstones to show context, but I think the area just did not want to be photographed. Though all three ingredients were available in spades, the right combination was actually quite hard to find. I ended wandering the cemetery grounds for some time to find this composition.

BTW, this is the Union United Church of Christ in Neffs Pennsylvania.

Let me know what you think.

Fall Creek meets the Snake River in southeast Idaho here at Fall Creek Falls. This waterfall has a 60 foot drop off a travertine ledge onto terraces before reaching the river. It always amazes me that there are no guard rails or paved trails along the sheer cliffs. There is no parking lot or Starbucks, and no fee to enjoy the view.

Caught this scene in a roadside park off of I-196 just south of Holland after dropping my daughter off at college.

Fall picture in my backyard by the Kia pond, as I take the picture the leaves are blowing off the trees and bushes. Have a wonderful day my friends and thanks of stopping by.

The Youghiogheny River (Yok-i-gay-nee), or the Yough (Yok) for short, is a 132-mile (216 km) tributary of the Monongahela River. Youghiogheny is a Native American word meaning “a stream flowing in a contrary direction”, or “a stream flowing in a roundabout course.” The uniqeness of the Yough starts, at the beginning.. it runs north throughout its entire course.

I don't know the identity of these berries, but I thought the color was very pretty.

Yep, I took this a couple of days ago....in the parking lot of our local Home Depot store!

I spent a long time trying to capture a leaf falling in the air. It's much harder than you would think!

Falling Down, Ashness Bridge

One of the many reasons I look forward to Fall - mushrooms. 🍄

During a recent trip to one of our favorite nature centers, we spotted quite a few mushrooms all throughout the woods.

Fortunately most were easily accessible, like this large group of mushrooms along one of the trails we were on.

Seen at Dauset Trails Nature Center.

By far my most favourite Fall shot taken this year and almost straight from camera. I cloned out some power lines and towers in the distance, but no ramping of saturation or additional editing was required, this scene really was this vibrant yesterday in the late afternoon light. I took a shed load of images, all slight variations, so you may well be seeing this scene again....Apologies.

Calanais Standing Stones

Fall here is southeastern Pennsylvania was beautiful--golden. We had the pleasure of watching autumn unfold day by day on our early morning walks. This was a quick iPhone shot processed with Snapseed and Distressed FX+.

Leaves are changing, the weather is getting colder, we know what is coming soon. Taken through a window.

First snows and fall colors. I AM NOT ready for this!!

Fall, leaves, fall; die, flowers, away;

Lengthen night and shorten day;

Every leaf speaks bliss to me

Fluttering from the autumn tree.

I shall smile when wreaths of snow

Blossom where the rose should grow;

I shall sing when night’s decay

Ushers in a drearier day.
