Here is a street performer playing the bagpipes in Calgary at their recent Lilac Festival.
The title "Fall Rise" is what is tattooed on his fingers.
I took this shot in daylight and then edited it with a black background. It took some time but it was a learning process.

Southbound BNSF 4740 meets the Northbound Sante Fe 670 "War bonnet" North of Savanna, IL on the BNSF Aurora Subdivision along the Mississippi River. The 4740 would soon crawl to a stop and await for 2 other trains to come off the Barstow subdivision so it could continue on. We waited over an hour to see a train, then ended up seeing 2 perfect meets right below us in 10 minutes time.
It's not often I get sunset photos while in Colorado but this one made us slam on the brakes.

This was taken last year in Washington Park near the Japanese Garden. I love the color of these orange leaves in the fall!
This is one of the chrysanthemums that were growing in pots on our deck last fall. This one is called Southway Strontium. The shot was taken on Nov. 19.
My fall shooting hasn't been too spectacular this year. Not sure what happened to all the bright reds in S. Ontario but didn't see too much except ornamentals in yards.
I'm heading out tomorrow or Sat. for the very loooooooooooooooooooong drive back to Arizona for the winter. I will only be online occasionally while on the road. Hope my fellow Canucks have a mild winter....I know I will:-))
