I have been so inspired by the mini quilts I am seeing pop up on flickr lately that I had sketched this out and couldn't stop until it was done this weekend. I love how it turned out learning curves and all. Found the hanger at my thrift store for a dime, score and perfect for my mini. I love how the number 202 is marked on the hanger, my mom thinks that it must be from a hotel room or something like that. Love the untold stories.

Falling Man Petroglyph

The Falling Man petroglyph is found in Nevada’s Gold Butte National Monument.
The area is rich in Native American history. The petroglyphs in the Gold Butte region date back 700 to several thousand years of age. The Falling Man petroglyph may tell the story of one unlucky individual but no one knows for sure what the true meaning is.

Fall foliage icm
Long week at work. So, I woke up early with an idea to find one tree with color and try icm (intentional camera movement). Here, I just zoomed the lens while taking the photo...technically not icm.....I think I like this one.
