Magdalena - Fairyland Minifรฉe Ria ~

Giveaway and commission finally finished! Really enjoyed painting this girl, I love fantasy face-ups *__*

Here is how posable the wings are ;-)

I must also say I love the fairyline body so much! Fairyland did an amazing job on upgrading the body. It is more poseable, sturdy and stands so well.

I wanted to buy a normal a-line body for Lore but I will go for a fairyline body instead for sure!

Almost done! Needs gloss and eyelashes :)

My first minifee arrived - fullset Lucywen in NS/Mint! Here's her body - the centaur body is incredibly impressive and articulate, and the mint color is gorgeous.

Alissandre - Minifee Alicia ~

male chest piece - cutie bust - full bust

But!!! [Screams!!!!] I may have gotten a clear blue fairyline tail on layaway!!! I am so so happy!

As you can see here is Bea in all her glory! She will be full with this!

Bea is basically kind of an insect type creature. Inspired by dragonfly's. Now she will have her tail too!

I know that this tail was meant to be for mermaids but it looks kind of insect like to me too..

The world that Bea lives has all those animal, and insect inspired creatures, it is a fantasy world.

So if I let my imagination roll I think it is a cool idea! What do you think?

[ Not my Doll ]

Hey peoples! I am still alive! Really! :P Between late season flu, work busy and changing like crazy and normal life stuff I have been feeling like my head is spinning.

Anyway, I took a leap and got a Fairyline bunny body to create this hybrid! Works better than I thought it would. No modding here. His torso pops a bit on either side and doesn't like to stay straight, but cute! What's everyone's thoughts?

Omg, what can I say? I am so happy!!! I finally got a juri08 head!

I was so lucky!!! I was the first one that contacted the seller and I got her!!! She will be here soon!!! Sorry I am all over the place, but I cant believe it, Aaaaa!!! I have already made so many plans for this head.

She was actually the first sculpt that brought me to this hobby. I couldn't find her so I bought a shushu insteed and then the madness begun. So she is a really special sculpt.^^

I love the rakeru face up, it is a gorgeous one so I will propably keep it. I love so much her expression she looks so confident and kinda foxy unlike my other dolls!

I am not sure about her name yet but I want her to be on a fairyline body.

Cant wait!!!

The photo of course isnt by me but by Rakeru Space.

These shoes are just gorgous โ™ฅ and I'm happy because I'll soon be able to put them on my girl's feet, Fairyland has accepted to send the heeled feet that were missing, yay \o/

Nothing better than the smell of fresh resin straight from the box :) She poses like a dream and the quality is mind-blowing.

I'm looking forward to see other Rendia's and see what everyone makes of this sculpt.

I was tempted to get her on the Fairyline body first, but I just don't like the big bust she comes with. I ordered her on a minifee active line body with cutie bust instead.

ASDFGHJKL

TEXTWALL AHOY

Oh my gosh so many things on my mind where to begin.

So my Fairyland Fairyline Sia human/Seahorse finally arrived yesterday after being delayed in shipping due to the holidays for 4 extra days (OTL) and I am SO happy to report that everything was accounted for, undamaged and proper to what I ordered this time THANK GOODNESS. I was super nervous about ordering from FL again after the plethora of problems I had with my Realfee May, but i'm so relived to have had another great experience with purchasing a FL doll because I definitely want more in the future hehe xD //shot

Secondly, ASDFGHJKL I'M SO HAPPY!! I'm so happy to finally see Euclid all in one piece again and on top of that everything is perfect and Euclid is so much more amazing then I could have imagined!! The male chest piece is PERFECT for Eui and I'm so glad that they are finally flat-chested and androgynous like they should be! No more annoying boobs woo! :D

And lets not forget, THE TAIL. OH MY GOSH. This thing is just amazing its beautiful, so much fun to pose and suits them so well Its kind of hard to even wrap my head around. Seriously, I had a "moment" where I was just playing around with Eui and the tail and even with the color being completely wrong (at the time) and only having owned the thing for less than a day It felt so natural, like Eui had always had that tail. Like, now that this is a thing I cannot unsee them having it. Usually it takes me a while to adjust to changes I make within my dolls and often times I have at least one or two apprehensions/concerns/doubts regarding those changes but this time? NOTHING. NOTHING AT ALL. And because of that, all the ideas and projects i've been brewing in my mind for Eui I feel so much confidence in actually doing!

Its hard to explain, but I often feel a lot of apprehension about my dolls like whether they are right for their characters or if there are pieces of them that would be better as something different. I often feel petrified of doing any permanent modification to them not because I fear damaging them or failing but purely because I hate the idea of putting so much time and effort into bringing to life a character in a shell that I may someday want to replace; loosing all the work I put into that doll. My artists soul is always yearning for greater things, always striving in the pursuit of excellence and while that sounds great on paper, often times what it translates to in reality is never being satisfied with yourself and the things around you because you feel they can be better; that you can make them better. For me this effects my dolls all the time and truth be told, there are only two dolls I've owned that i've never once entertained the idea of someday reshelling, one being Nostalgion and the other being Euclid. The only sculpt-related apprehension i've ever had about Euclid was in regards to their bust as because it was previously canonically incorrect I wanted to either modify or change the body that they had only to rectify that issue. However, literally everything else about the rest of their body I was perfectly happy with and their head sculpt i've never considered changing whatsoever. Now that the one thing I ever wanted to change has been fixed as well as the addition that i've always dreamed of is exactly what I wanted I have the feeling of a weight being lifted, or more specifically, of my apprehension fading away. The core components of Euclid are exactly how I want them to be and that has really allowed me to feel free and confident in taking the next steps in refining them even more perfectly. As an artist its the most amazing feeling to feel inspired, unrestricted and unafraid to take the next step in enhancing your art or realizing that you've already taken it.

Anyways, feels, but I've always been hesitant to really take the "next step" with a lot of my dolls/projects especially with things that are very permanent like modification and dyeing. Slowly but surely i've become more confident with the idea of modifications provided the aforementioned sculpt related apprehensions/doubts aren't a factor but dyeing was always something that I was suuuuuper hesitant to ever try as while i'm not usually too worried about straight up failure (xD I'm a meticulous researcher haha), dyeing to me has largely seemed like a huge gamble with high odds for errors. I've mentioned before that while the Fairyline Seahorse tail itself i've always thought was just perfect for Euclid, the color options were not right for them at all and originally I had thought I would just paint/blush them more suitably. The more I thought about it though the more I realized how much I'd need to blush them and how much of a nightmare it would be to maintain that blushing what with all the pointy bits and joints in the tail combined with all the twisting that is required to pose it. I've never dyed resin before and like I said it always seemed like a very scary proposition to me but I guess desperation made me look into it more thoroughly and gave me the courage to actually give it a shot, gamble or no. Thankfully I remembered reading a thread a while ago that someone posted about dyeing resin with a bunch of different types of dyes and that they had great success with one called iDye Poly! It seemed to produce much more reliable and consistent results with resin than that of commonly used dyes like Rit for example so I decided i'd face another fear of mine and take a chance with it. xD Eui's tail was always meant to be mostly black so I figured that even if it was a total failure I could easily paint over it at least haha. Its been cold and rainy the last few days so since I can't work on faceups I might as well take the opportunity to give Eui's tail its first dye bath. AND LET ME TELL YOU, THIS STUFF IS THE BEST THING EVER.

Seriously, this thing was clear and MINT GREEN when I started and the color is completely uniform and there are no streaks, color transfer or blotches. I even dyed the clear resin pieces and those took the dye exactly the same and came out perfect as well! I didn't even need to use the harsh chemical color enhancer or any additives like salt etc. Its completely idiot proof and I am SO happy that I actually got up the courage and did this! *U* Really, this opens up so many doors! Don't ever let people use Rit dye on resin again, not when this magic exists!! *O*

^w^ But anyways, i'm not done dyeing it yet but I wanted to share my experience with iDye Poly, my progress on Eui so far...and just how freaking amazing Eui looks with their lovely flat chest and gorgeous seahorse tail! Hopefully I can take better pictures of it soon when the weather clears up but Eeep! I'm over the moon happy right now you have no idea!! I can't wait to work on it more and all the other projects I have planned for Euclid. xD I hope you don't mind some WIP/project spam because I'll probably have more haha //shot
