On the way back home from Grand Teton National Park. However faint, it was the first rainbow I'd seen in a year. ♥
I stuck this on Picnik trying to decide what to do with it, but I came up dead for ideas. So... vignette, logo.

I hope everyone is enjoying the evening. I watched half of a movie from 1979 called "The Warriors". I love 70's and 80's movies. In some ways, I wish I could go back in time to those days and hang out for a while. Music was much, much better! My memories of the early 80's are fond but faint. Random thoughts :)

Kachauri Gali is close to Vishwanath lane, it is one of the narrowest lanes of Kashi and it is where many pilgrims come to have breakfast after their morning dips in the Ganges or prayers at the temples all around.
Here and there a few fruits and vegetables sellers like this young man always stand at the same place...

To see it flutter, the glass eyes shudder, at the sight of a fainting heart, beating its last hurrah.
On a moonless night in May I went to the coast to photograph the stars, but the weather forecast turned out to be wrong, and the sky was overcast. It was so dark that I could see almost nothing, except for some extremely faint lights on the horizon. I took a picture anyway; the exposure time was 16 minutes. Surprisingly the photo showed a few patches of blue bioluminescence in the ocean. The light must have been extremely faint; even knowing where to look after spotting the blue patches on the camera screen, I could not see them.
