And where there is no echo there is no description of space or love. There is only silence.

Job 4:12-17:
A secret was told to me
in a faint whisper,
when I was overcome by sleep
and disturbed by dreams.
I trembled with fear,
and my hair stood on end.
A wind blew past my face,
and it stopped and stood still.
Then a form appeared—
a shapeless form.
And from the silence,
I heard a whisper:
“Can a mortal be more righteous than God?
Can a man be more pure than his Maker?”
Night view there in Marble Canyon where the Grand Canyon begins. The view there with the moonlight on the rocks was quite pretty.
#70 - 100 x challenge - Lensbaby
I've had this succulent for a few years now and this is the first time it's flowered. I also only just found out it's called a house leek.
Lensbaby Velvet 56 plus a little faffing. I also felt it looked better as a square crop.
Apologies for falling behind with commenting again, will do my best to catch up.

Taken during my same street shoot this week in Montreal. This one was taken outside the Palais des Congrès building in the Old Montreal area.
A happy new week.

ちょっと楽しい
It takes mirror-less interchangeable lens illustrations
A little fun.
Falling faintly through the universe and faintly falling, like the descent of their last end, upon all the living and the dead [J. Joyce, The Dead].
Lead and Zinc, a daylight LED lamp from below, two LED lights from the sides, and contre-jour.
Good time to go through photos now that it's been cloudy 24/7. This was taken earlier at our summer house. Faint northern lights can be seen in the north between clouds.

Although faint, she was still captivating from Northern Lincoln County. Ol' Aurora done near had me leaving near 10:45 pm, but noticed a lil' smoggy-like scene creeping to the left of the rising moon. Maybe it was my eyes [finally adjusting to the darkness]?? Maybe Ol' Aurora was a lil' weak and needed some motivational energy from the moon?? I am not certain, but she came through.
This photo was first imported into Adobe Lightroom Classic; the shadows were boosted so you will be able to see the nature of the highway and mountains better, the color temperature cooled down by 500 degrees Kelvin to bring out the true blues I've seen while hanging along State Route 21, and very subtle exposure adjustments. Next, the photo was then imported into Topaz's DeNoise AI to remedy the photo's noise courtesy of the higher ISO. Lastly, the photo was imported into Adobe Photoshop; the photo was resized to a resolution of 12000 x 8000.
Photo of the Aurora Borealis, AKA the Northern Lights, captured via Minolta AF-Maxxum 16mm Fisheye F/2.8 lens. Columbia Plateau region. Lincoln County, Washington. Late August 2022.

フェニックスの葉っぱが夜空に淡い光を放っています。こんなイルミネーションのやり方は初めて見ました。
The phoenix leaves are shining a faint light in the night sky.I've never seen such an illumination method.
Yesterday. It should be spring but nature decided to give us winter.
I realized the falling snow looked just like the kind of snow I learned to make in Photoshop (thanks Phlearn). Good to know! This one here is real though, taken at 1/250 sec (f2.8). I took some images at slower speeds but the snow looked less good the longer the exposure. At 1/40sec you could hardly make out the tree anymore, it was just a white wall. I called it faintly green because under the tree snow takes the longest to stick.
