DaÃ, começou a desgraceira...
i failed at this. :,(
but whatever!:p

I do not recommend these belts! The internal threads are steel. Which is great for minimizing stretch in the belt, but considering the tight bend radii experienced on the mendel on the X axis specifically, and also no Z, i suspect the internal metal braids become fatigued rather quickly and fail, fail, FAIL! gah...
I think i bought these from SDP-SI. Not a good choice for this particular application.
Charotte : You cannot fight against your boss! Call me 'Madam Charlotte',now!!
Eric : ....I'm sorry...
[No! Charlotte, why you play with Eric like that? haha]
my freshman year in college I went on a road trip with 5 friends all over the Eastern US. one of our stops was in Panama City, FL. At the beach we attempted to do some poses with handstands. the failed attempts were hilarious! we have so many great memories together from this trip!
An example of why I don't like DRM...
A Canadian who's over here helping with stability ops (supervising road building, etc...) came to me with his iPod shuffle. His daughter gave it to him, and loaded a bunch of songs on it -- using her computer.
He's frustrated because he can't put any new songs on it without erasing the songs his daughter picked for him, Apple's DRM will only sync one Shuffle to one computer at a time. He found a website that documents a hack to add songs to the shuffle and asked me if I could do it for him.
I warned him I'd never tried this before and it might wipe the songs.
I obliged, and now he can put new songs on it, but it wiped out his previous library. Now he's sad because he can't listen to the songs his daughter picked out for him.
So here's a guy who's halfway across the world in a war zone trying to fix the place and he can't put new music on a device which he owns... Really? He owns the device, but is locked out.
This is real-world sadness. I mean, there are people worse off, Afghanistan is full of them, but I can tell by his voice that music meant a lot to him. He was desperately trying to figure out a way to both listen to his old music and add a few songs.
I'm restoring as much of his library as I can, he knows which albums were on there. Thanks LimeWire.
DRM breaks otherwise good products.
I took this picture with my cellphone, so please excuse the bad quality. It says: "push for emergency".
If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

That thing where you're supposed to use a springform tin, but you use a nonstick loose bottomed tin instead, and when you try to unmould it, it slides off the base.
This is my first custom job, and it didn't go all to well... I attempted to take the jett-pack off, but didn't realize that the missle was hollow...

First attempt at suspension = FAIL. In this attempt, the el-wire is joined to baling wire. While the wire was stiff enough, it didn't scale well, and the wire tried to resume its original curled up shape.
The resulting oblong shapes are interesting, I'll admit, but too hard to replicate consistently, and in the end, just not what I'm going for. I'd like to investigate these shapes in the future, though.

I've had one hell of a bad year. Here's why I was kicked out of the Philippines for those that missed my Fail Festival presentation:

This is why date night stresses me. Tried a sitter from school. She let the kids paint. Indoors. With black. And didn't clean it up. It absorbed into all these porous mats. The kids tracked it in the house. It was all over the bathroom. She cooked food for herself and left it on the pan on the stove. Dishes in the sink. And fail.

Final fail of Alpine Design bag 900-FJ-FH bought at Sports Authority. Pity, the bag still looks good. Too bad we could not find a place to register the observation. Maybe the brand owner finds it here.

It's kind of like..'Well, the wheels fell off" except with wrenches.
