I took 65 photos like this one above, and I failed to get the shot I wanted.
I wanted the fingers in focus, at 2.8, zoomed in to 200mm, with the fingers just touching the water. For an added bonus I wanted to have others in the shot in adjacent lanes to add depth. I found this shot very hard to get. I have never seen a shot like this anywhere.
Today I didn't get the shot I set a goal to get. I wanted to publish some of my closest attempts here so next weekend I can learn from my mistakes.

Sigh... I had such high hopes for this strawberry-lemon marbled pound cake, but it was not to be. Smells awesome, tastes fine (apparently) but looks hideous.

A typical finding after being gone to work/school all day. If we fail to put our shoes away, Ripley often confiscates them and takes them to his "house". He doesn't chew or destroy them... I think they are his company while we are away. We have found as many as 4 shoes in there at the same time!!
Well, handcuffs was successful. Getting out of them was not. Reset time. But Guile glitches work, so this is a good ROM.
