My "travelin' kid", freight train hoppin', "homeless" daughter and her 11 month old Rott mix Pippen were here for a 2-week visit. One evening near the end of her stay I got the bright idea to do a portrait of her and Pipps. ha! I set up lights and a funky backdrop, but neither she nor the dog were really into a modeling session. Not very cooperative. We all gave up after less than 15 minutes.

Epic fail on this one! I noticed right off that the box didn't seem as full as it should be, but all pieces were in a ziplock bag, so maybe it was just my imagination.

Nope. With over 50 pieces missing just from the sky, I cancelled this project. A huge disappointment. I debated persevering to determine just how many pieces were missing, but it wouldn't be worth the wasted time.

So I was in Melbourne, on holidays, and made it to the Formula 1 circuit at Albert Park. Had this idea for a photo, but pressed the wrong button and ended up taking a panorama rather than a sphere photo. Duh!!

I've been playing about with capturing action perfectly still, and making a mess in the progress.

The first week will introduce the rest of the series but focus on the golden calf/bull, thus his presence in the graphic. Bull is from iStock and then "gilded" in AI.

Thoughts? We've been debating on whether the 'fail' is obvious enough for the brain to read it without seeing much of the 'i.'

Primeiro que deu MUITA bolinha. Segundo, resolvi passar o Insta-dri por cima, pra ficar com a superfície menos áspera, e o resultado: MAIS bolinhas ainda e a cor mudou completamente... manchou tudo! Ficou horrendo!rs

Só postei a foto pra vocês saberem que Fashion Chrome e Insta-dri não combinam!!rs

This is why buses are never, ever a substitute for subways or light rail. This is the MBTA Silver Line, a fancy dual-mode electric/CNG bus rapid transport system. The we are trapped about 100 feet away from the entrance to the busway by a snarl of traffic. We haven't moved in 45 minutes.
