A blimp emblazoned with an XFL logo crashes near a waterfront restaurant.
My first attempt to "bribe" L to take a picture with his little sister. I guess I shouldn't have given him the piece of chocolate beforehand. I thought having it in his hands would give him even more incentive. I also didn't realize that 10 clicks of the camera was enough to melt the chocolate in his fingers (well, that and the 90 degree day we were having!) LOL!
E's t-shirt was a little surprise for the hubby. I recently gave him a fancy shmancy electric guitar after passing all three levels of the CFA Exam, WOOHOO! E is already his #1 fan, he plays for her every night and she loves it!
While Jennifer Aniston looks lovely, someone isn't proofreading their ad. . . .

Well here's my life as of right now... living on my parents couch. If you've followed my pictures you may have seen that I broke my ankle.
Well I tried to keep going but between the pain meds, having surgery, not having my camera available, forgetting, and just struggling to do normal things I didn't quite make it.
I learned a lot from what little I did and I hope to try again, I may not do just selfs I don't know. Hopefully i can make a run at a mid year restart.
I thought brazing on a nipple would reinforce the joint, but the fitting was too loose to contain the filler metal and because of excessive work time the remaining filler crystallized into a very brittle structure, eroding the base metal as well.
It would probably hold better if joined on a solid rod, but I would never know. I just replaced this whole contraption with a heavy-duty motorcycle bar on a dual BMX stem.

I was trying to take a selfie with the parakeets, but they kept moving and landing on my cameraphone, and Irene kept grabbing me because she was freaking out about all the birds!
Last night, I veered past "auto" on my camera and tried out the Tv setting and used a slow shutter.
I wanted lots of light streaks from the cars passing me by.
*sigh*
I'm goin back to the safety of Auto.
Amazingly, Scientific American picked up on the CSPI news released, and published it without any fact checking.
They even added an *extra* taxonomic error.

It's amazing to see copy go out with such a terrible mistake. Not only did they misspell the very 1st word, but they continue to refer to Abode's Flash player and what not, basically spelling it wrong every single time.
This screen shot is from www.themoneytimes.com/reviews/20091110/rim-teams-abode-im... but the copy error went out all over the world and was reprinted in several websites.

okay, I know this is not Hi Key. the grandparents asked for some high key shots to match some other family photos they have. So I independently lit the background to make it super white, epic win. and put the key light in the front of some kiddie chairs and asked the boys to sit. They of course did not. Firstly they moved the chairs to against the wall, and being blondes their hair immediately picked up the back light and proceeded to make their head disappear. so I turned off the back light, and they continued to move chairs around.
