While we did not set out on our journey to document the stunning night sky. We were drawn away from the harvest moon. Stunned by the beauty of the vibrant yellows and purples and pinks. Only a few of us were lucky enough to snap a quick picture of the fleeing sunset.

This arrived December 29th, not in time for Christmas, after I ordered it December 9th. That sucks, and shows a lack of planning on their part (or who knows, maybe sales were better then expected with the economy improving, I'll give them that) since they should have had a giant stack of Ovechkin jerseys for Christmas.
But while I can forgive that, spelling the damn name wrong is a little much.
FAIL
4140 steel fails under tension. A combination of strain hardening and area reduction leads to a necking instability, and ultimately, failure.
The TAs will hold office hours between 7-9 on Tuesday evenings.

I'm moving stuff around... I'm at the phase where it looks worse before it looks better. At least I HOPE that's what's happening!
Things aren't going so well for the company that leased Chicago's parking meters. Every single meter on this block of Damen is broken, and has been broken since a week after they put them up.
Using Godaddy, free hosting, and Wordpress is an epic fail. Wordpress page edit auto-saves and does not refresh, but my godaddy ads thought it did. A good 5 scrolls and you can actually get to your content!
I wired this in December 2008. This was only a few months after I started building coils. It's stood up this long because I only recently started putting up to 20kV on the anode.
Note the burn mark on the wire tray, where there was obviously a flash over.
A failed panorama. Horrible, isn't it?
8 shots were taken, and only 4 were used. Using more images didn't improve the fit any. However, the camera strap in each shot was pretty obvious - how did I not see that when I made the series? Well, it is hard to see the LCD in bright sun!
The difference in exposure between the left and right in the clouds and trees is too much. So, I have not finished this panorama, and have no intention on finishing it. This is it. It's all you get. Maybe you can learn from my failure.
