I decided to try my hand at something a little new, inspired by the AMAZING KittyPinkStars and Siansburys, and this is what I came up with. Trying to be a unique as possible....my idea was a sock faerie - he turned out quite punk rock. I'm thinking of putting him up on etsy - but I'm not sure yet...hmmm. Certainly a funny little guy though.

Holly Faerie is a OOAK beaded art doll. She is bal-jointed and has 13 points of articulation. She is made of Japanese glass seed beads, organic cotton thread & fiber fill, ahimsa silk thread, and Swarovski pearls. She is about 9 inches tall. There is a lot of interesting lore about the holly plant, I posted a little about that on my website, if anyone wants to read it, here is the link: faeriedustdolls.wordpress.com/2015/08/17/holly-faerie/

If you've ever read the book 'Gregor The Overlander', I think it should be the cover!
Faerie Bits ~ Faerie Spun Dreads are gorgeous, felted handspun yarn additions to my line of dreadlocks for a fantastical fae embellishment! These are made from amazing, bulky handspun art yarns spun by me :) These look amazing worked into a braid!
I'm planning to take Bitsy to the Silverleaf Renfest this weekend as a captured fae so I needed wings asap. This is the quick & easy version: feather butterfly wings with added Stickles and glitter. I'll be experimenting with some other types of wings but these are the fallbacks incase the others don't turn out.
PS- Bitsy says faeries like to be nakey. :)
