There were all kind of costumes at the Faerie Festival. Here is just a sampling of the cool fairie wings people created.
This picture was taken with an old Pentax K1000 camera, with a Pentax SMC 28mm lense, a cross filter and 'Ilford HP5 plus' 400 iso film.

I wanted to do a photo for my niece for her birthday, so decided to make 'little miss pink' into a faerie. Also, I've been waiting in for a delivery and couldn't face doing any housework :-) I know, I know - it's a bit sweet and fluffy, but I did it to her taste.. honest :-)
Unfortunately the photos weren't taken to go together and I couldn't quite get the lighting right. But she won't mind :-)

Where? by Cicely M. Barker
Where are the fairies? Where can we find them?
We’ve seen the fairy-rings they leave behind them!
When they have danced all night, Where do they go?
Lark, in the sky above, Say, do you know?
Is it a secret no one is telling?
Why, in your garden Surely they’re dwelling!
No need for journeying, Seeking afar:
Where there are flowers, there fairies are!
hehe, I used to believe fairies lived at the bottom of my garden...so I made it come true! ;-)
