We went to a photography exhibit in Bushwick tonight thanks to my good friend luluinnyc www.flickr.com/photos/dreher21/. After the exhibit, we went to Williamsburg. I'm very impressed with how much the nightlife is changing in Williamsburg. Lots of cafes, restaurants, interesting hang outs. Having chewed up the streets of London’s east end, British artist Sweet Toof takes a bite out of the Big Apple with his first New York solo exhibition, Dark Horse. Revealing a new series of original works, Sweet Toof’s Trojan Horse greets the city that never sleeps ‘til Brooklyn at the freshest factory in town.
Like the Dark Horse himself, Sweet Toof has risen up the ranks as a graffiti artist throughout 80s and 90s England, where his letterforms and street styles have evolved alongside a rigorous academic practice as a realist painter and sculptor. Heavily influenced by the Vanitas paintings of sixteenth century Europe, Mexican Day of the Dead, Subway Art, and the underground comics of Vaughn Bodé, his characteristic gummy chompers are a true mash-up of street and studio.
Now, the anonymous face that launched a thousand teeth unleashes the beast and charges forward once again—with a fleet of new works and an army of horsemen braced to paint New York by storm. It’s a call to arms in the battle for free expression: join forces, or else just grin and bear it.

🇩🇪 Erstmals/Neu für die 2019er HotWheels Serie & gleichsam sprichwörtlich der letzte Wagen für 2019 mit der Nummer 250 von 250 Fahrzeugen kommt der 'Mod Rod' in Blau & erinnert doch sehr an 'Hotroad's inspirierte' Fahrzeuge wie zb den 'Bone Shaker' & ist auf Anhieb ein erfolgreiches neues Modell zum sammeln, bislang nur in dieser Farbeversion erhältlich. In 2020 erscheint der sogenannte 'Erikenstein Rod' mit der Nr 52 zum '52ten' HW. Geburtstag & bildet zusammen mit den 'Mod Rod' Nr 51 sowie den noch unbekannten 'Nr 53' Ein 'Secret 3er Auto Themenpack' aus 3' Neuen Fahrzeugmodellen.

🇬🇧 For the first time / New for the 2019 HotWheels series & literally the last car for 2019 with the number 250 of 250 vehicles, the 'Mod Rod' comes in blue & is very reminiscent of 'Hotroad's inspired' vehicles such as the 'Bone Shaker' & instantly a successful new model to collect, so far only available in this color version. In 2020, appears the so-called 'Erikenstein Rod' with the number 52 to the '52nd' HW. Birthday & forms together with the 'Mod Road' No 51 and the as yet unknown 'Nr 53' A 'Secret 3 Series Car Themes Pack' from 3 'New Vehicle Models.
