A visit to a jade factory/sales room, featuring lovely examples of jade jewelry & carvings.

One of the most important industries in Dessau was the Junker's airplane factory. The plant was taken over by the Nazis after the owner fled, and it manufactured war planes. This was one of the main reasons Dessau was hit as hard as it was. Most of the buildings were still standing just a few months ago but demolition just started up again.
