We arrived at the Furano cheese factory about an hour before it closes for the day...just in time to buy a cheese and grape ice cream, taste some squid ink and red wine cheese and take this evening shot.

The people at Impossible Project held a open house and I was invited to join the tour of the factory. The place once employed 1200 people at the hight of the Polaroid days. Now just 36 people are the Impossible Project. All of them passionate, dedicated and giving their all to keep us Polaroid camera users happy with film. Daunting task and after the visit I have nothing but respect for people achieving the impossible.

This location opened on September 21st, 2023; it was originally part of a Thomasville, which opened in 2005. It became CHB Furniture in June 2011, which closed in 2013.
The rain poured down and turned everything grey. The factory was part demolished, and little remained. Amongst the ruined landscape was the bright and pretty good graffiti on the walls. Probably the only thing worth seeing here. It is possible that this building was once Rentokil, Bradford. I am sure that there is some irony here somewhere.
