One of the most advanced factories in the world, recently completed at Sheffield Business Park, features a stunning glazed façade using SGG COOL-LITE SKN 165 II. The £43 million Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC) Factory 2050 is the UK’s first totally reconfigurable, digital factory, built to respond to an increasing requirement for advanced manufacturers to be able to make rapid changes to product design, as a result of ever-changing customer demands.
The 7000sqm building is constructed largely from glass, to showcase the advanced manufacturing technologies inside the facility. The SGG COOL-LITE SKN 165 II product was specified on the project due to the architect requiring a very specific combination of solar heat gain and light transmission in the glass façade to accompany the incredibly neutral aesthetic requirement.

Michal asked someone in McDonalds what the building across the street was, and it all fell into uncomfortable focus: it's a dog food factory.
So if you ever wanted to know what a kosher dog food factory looks like, there it is.
