I may have been trying to ward off tears at this point. It was a very emotional time for me.

1st Half Marathon - OUC 1/2 Marathon at Lake Eola / Downtown Orlando

I've been training with these amazing gals and got together for a pic before the race while we were still fresh. We ran the first part of the race together. I would not be where I am today if it were not for them.

Congrats to each and everyone of you for completing this race, and especially for which this was your first 1/2 marathon also. We rock! :)

Before Photo:

- date: 3/13/2008

- pant size: 8

- weight: 143 - 146 (7-8 lbs lost).

After Photo:

- date: 12/5/2008

- pant size: 2

- weight: 125-126 (25-26 lbs lost)

I've come a long way and I am so proud of what I've accomplished during the last 8 months :)

On March 13, I took a similar photo, day087: earth tones, wearing a brand new size 8 pair of pants, which was already several sizes down from the original 12/14 I wore before I started losing weight in February. At that time, I weighed somewhere between 143 & 146 and had lost about 7-8 lbs.

I've been meaning to retake that photo for a while, but never got around to it--until today.

In today's photo, I'm wearing a size 2 pair of jeans that are low rise, or at least lower rise than I usually wear and I love how they look/feel. I now weigh between 125-126 lbs and I've lost over 25 lbs.

For FGR's "Wink Wink, it's Bed Head!" - combining Wink Wink and Beadhead

I didn't really like this shot this morning and uploaded it because it was the lesser of all evils, but it is growing on me now. This was probably about a dozen takes later, so I was wide awake by then. I didn't want to look like I was just half asleep and yawning, so I had to make it clear it was a wink, hence my apparent display of enthusiasm.

Random fact: I can only wink with this eye. If I try to wink with the other, I look like my face is distorted or I just had stroke.

This took entirely too long to shoot and I had to enlist Jason's help.

We trecked out to DeLand today to have brunch at the The Old Spanish Sugar Mill in the DeLeon Springs State Park. The pancakes were too delicious and too plentiful.

It's finally scarf and cozy sweater weather.

Took the Metra in to town today to meet up with a friend from Michigan.

Had a great time, and practiced my "street photography moves" but I'm

ready to be home.
